European Cottage

We like to name our homes and I found myself calling it Granny Nanny since it was on a street named Tanager. We found ourselves wanting it to be a mix of old-world and cottage vibes. We completely reimagined the layout, look, and feel of this home to create a space that feels both timeless and inviting. The renovation included a new bonus room on the lower level and an additional full bath upstairs, along with a full kitchen relocation that opened the entire downstairs for effortless living and entertaining.

Rich tones and beautiful stonework set the foundation for the design, blending European influences with a relaxed cottage sensibility. Cobblestone, brick, and flagstone were used throughout to add warmth and an old-world charm. Cottage-inspired lighting and vertical paneling bring texture and character, resulting in a home that feels both enduring and stylish.
